# ERR_CONNECTION_REFUSED

 * Hello,
 * I recently installed this plugin and I’m now unable to access my site. Now it
   states: “This webpage is not available ERR_CONNECTION_REFUSED”
 * Everything was working fine until I installed this plugin and tried to edit the
   login background color.
 * I’m unable to access my wordpress admin to remove this plugin, so I have removed
   the plugin’s folder through my host server’s FTP. This did not fix the issue,
   so I have also disabled all plugins through my phpMyAdmin files.
 * With folders deleted, and all plugins disabled, I am still unable to access my
   website.
 * What do I need to do to fix this issue. My site was running Wordfense Security
   at the time of install, but it has since been disabled.

 * Ok, well after some more messing around I have fixed my issue. I thought I would
   post this in case anyone else has the same problem.
 * I ended up deleting all related files and folders for both this plugin and my
   security plugin within FTP and PHP. I then renamed both the ‘plugins’ and the‘
   themes’ folders to ‘pluginsXX’ and ‘themesXX’.
 * Then after completing that, I then went to my site and found I was still having
   trouble viewing anything on both the front and back ends..
 * So, I then redirected my browser to:
 * [http://www.yourdomain.com/wp-login.php?action=logout](http://www.yourdomain.com/wp-login.php?action=logout)
   with ‘yourdomain’ being your actual domain
 * Now go back to your login screen and you should be able to log back in. Make 
   sure you change the names of those folders back to what they were before downloading
   or activating your plugins and themes.
 * This then fixed my issue and finally showed my site’s login screen. I am now 
   able to login and edit my site like normal. I then reinstalled my security plugin
   and was good to go. I do not plan to reinstall this plugin as it isn’t really
   necessary for my site and I don’t want to go through this again.
 * Give this a try, I hope it works for you too.
 * Apparently, Wordfence Security saw this plugin as a threat and locked down my
   site to prevent any further damage.

 * Hi,
 * This plugin has to include changes to your site, and to include all the changes
   it has reload the page. So some security plugins, in this case Wordfence, thought
   of it as a bot who’s trying to login to your account using a bruteforce attack.
 * So if you wanna use this plugin then please deactivate your security plugin first,
   and only activate it after you complete the Customization. 🙂

 * Security plugins log users out based on 1p adresses…
 * so, i was able to re-enter, after i rebooted my mobile hotspot and got at new
   ip-adress.
 * Another way to prevent future log-outs is to “whitelist” your ip adress in the
   security plugin, if you are on a fixed ip adress
