# Error

 * There has been a critical error on your website. Please check your site admin
   email inbox for instructions.
 * I just checked email and there is nothing from WordPress or my site about this
   error. I click various links for the site and it crashes but I can try another
   link and go back and it’s fine.
 * I can’t tinker with the config file to debug this. I’m on the iPad and I’m unable
   to get the file as I can’t ftp in.
 * Another way to debug this error and fix it?
 * Thank you

 * There seems to be an issue with WordPress and PHP 7.4. I rolled back to 7.3.21
   and the error went away.
 * And this was a virgin WP install.
