 * I’m getting this error and I have tested out any other plugin conflicts. Any 
   thoughts?
 * ERROR: An error was encountered while trying to authenticate. Please try again.

 * Thanks for using WPS Hide Login.
 * Did you try to log in without WPS Hide Login on wp-login.php ? Is this issue 
   comes up too ?

 * Once I deactivate the plugin, I can log in with no issues.

 * Ok.
 * I think there is a conflict with anoter plugin. Are you using a membership plugin
   or a custom login page plugin ?
 * If not, deactivate all other plugins and try again until the issue comes again.

 * I am not using anything like that and I have tested all plugins to see if there
   is a conflict. My theme does let me customize the login page a little – added
   a logo. I have reached out to my theme developer because that may be the issue
   but if you had any ideas what I could look into in the meantime that would be
   great.

 * Hello,
 * WPS Hide Login only changes wp-login.php slug in database.
 * Then, if you can’t log in that way, there are two possibilities :
 * – Another plugin requires wp-login.php slug
    – Your wp-admin and wp-login.php
   pages are cached (try to exclude theme from cache if you’ve got a plugin for 
   this).
