    Dude why are we suddenly getting this error “Error while calling OpenAI: cURL error 28”? I waited and it just throws this error even on very simple tasks. The last time this information is written in the logs is 12 hours ago, but I still can’t do anything. I tried a new key, closed and opened the plugin, but the result is still the same. Good luck.

    Also, the buttons on the dashboard in the main add-ons section do not work.

    Hi,

    That’s a timeout; this is not coming from the plugin itself unfortunately. We can only check OpenAI server statuses, or the connection from your hosting server to the outside world. It’s completely network-related, so unfortunately, I can only guess.

    Server service said they were interested and you’re probably right. I’m waiting, I will wait until tomorrow, if necessary, I will open a new openai account.

    but I am getting the same exact error message as you now…

    Jordy, is that not a plugin issue, as you say, then it is the host or OpenAI then?

    When I first tested this there was a different error, but then the plugin was reupdated, and that error was fixed.

    1) How do I troubleshoot Open AI for use with this plugin?
    2) Does paying for Pro Open AI potentially fix this?
    3) If it’s host related, but no errors in log, are there any other means to test?

    interestingly, there is no problem with rendering images, but there are problems with rendering text.

    Just check with them, or try to find other people with the same issue. I have never ever seen that message personally, and I am constantly working on the plugin 🙂

    Unfortunately, we can’t do much here to help. Come on the Discord and try to find people with the same kind of issues. You can also visit the Discord of OpenAI, they might help.
