Yes, that should not be a problem, installation and operation are fine for me.
well I found it’s a problem with caching plugin (WPRocket)… I tried to exclude plugin from caching. But the problem is maybe, as the plugin uses the mysiteurl.com/?ed=cron&guid=etcetc instead of a custom URL, and as the root url uses cache, something does not work anymore. I could set ‘no cache’ for a custom URL eventually, but for root url, it’s annoying…

I use
WP Super Cache and I have nothing special to set. It could well be that the combination can vary per host. But perhaps it is purely due to the used cache plugin. Perhaps PHP version issue?
