    I receive this error although I follow all the instructions. How to solve
   this issue?

 * Thanks for reaching out. Your error indicates your Google account is not connected
   properly. When you get a chance, could you please share what happens when you
   click on ‘Allow plugin to send emails using your Google account’ button?
 * Make sure that you have configured the Google App by following the steps [here](https://wpmailsmtp.com/docs/how-to-set-up-the-gmail-mailer-in-wp-mail-smtp/#create-app).
