 * Okay, here’s what my problem is all of a sudden:
    on my WordPress dashboard I
   received this error message:
 * _Error 403 We’re sorry, but we could not fulfill your request for /wp-admin/index-
   extra.php?jax=incominglinks on this server.
    Your Internet Protocol address is
   listed on a blacklist of addresses involved in malicious or illegal activity.
   See the listing below for more details on specific blacklists and removal procedures.
 * I was given the option to use the tech support key to fix it myself. Well, when
   I clicked on that option, I got a message saying:
 * _Your request was intercepted by security software which protects the Web site
   you visited from malicious activity, such as hackers, spam and viruses. We apologize
   for the inconvenience, but your request matched a profile of suspicious activity.
   This problem is usually quite easy to fix._
 * Your computer’s IP address was determined to have recently sent spam or engaged
   in malicious activity as reported by a third-party monitoring service. This means
   your computer is most likely infected with viruses or other malicious software.
   See below for more information and removal instructions.
 * Your request was blocked because of malicious automated requests received from
   your computer’s IP address.
 * This problem may be caused by viruses or spyware on your computer, or by malicious
   software that pretends to be anti-virus or anti-spyware software. Ensure that
   you have REAL anti-virus and anti-spyware software on your computer, that they
   are kept up-to-date, and that you have run a full system scan using each tool.
   Once your system is cleaned of viruses and spyware, please try your request again.
 * The free Google Pack provides trustworthy anti-virus and anti-spyware software.
 * Blacklist Reason(s):
 * If the above suggestions fail to resolve the problem, click Back and contact
   the e-mail address you were given for further assistance.
 * I downloaded Google Pack. It took forever to download but I finally got it to
   install and I scanned using Norton but it didn’t find anything. No freaking idea
   what is up with this at all.
 * I tried to contact the “tech support” at [http://www.ioerror.us/](http://www.ioerror.us/),
   where the link lead me but apparently:
 * _The requested resource is no longer available on this server and there is no
   forwarding address. Please remove all references to this resource._
 * Anyone else having this problem with WordPress?
    I’m not unable to add links
   and or post to my site with this problem. I keep getting the same message: _Your
   Internet Protocol address is listed on a blacklist of addresses involved in malicious
   or illegal activity. See the listing below for more details on specific blacklists
   and removal procedures._ Then it says to try tech support at the closed website
   or contact the administrator: me!
 * Thanks for any help!

 * Yeah, is that causing a problem with WP 2.2 now?

 * I had a similar problem with a 403 error, but I got down to simply posting “Test”
   in both the title and content area and still didn’t help. I ended up finding
   this text which got plugged into .htaccess (a hidden file).
 * <IfModule mod_security.c>
    SecFilterEngine Off SecFilterScanPOST Off </IfModule
   >
 * Worked like a charm – have no idea what it’s doing, but I can now post again.
