 * Okay so I reinstalled wordpress but now I’m trying to get my site by itself like
   instead of everything showing via.

 * i’m trying to get it to show on my own domain name like this

 * but I keep getting this error page:
 * Error 403 – Forbidden
 * You tried to access a document for which you don’t have privileges.
 * I tried following this tutorial [http://codex.wordpress.org/Giving_WordPress_Its_Own_Directory](http://codex.wordpress.org/Giving_WordPress_Its_Own_Directory)
   but it keeps telling me to copy a .htaccess file but I don’t see any in my wordpress
   directory.

 * htaccess is a hidden file. If you can choose to “display hidden files” in your
   FTP program, use that, otherwise go to the file manager of your controlpanel/
   PHPmyAdmin or whatever you got from your hosting provider.

   file yet, in fact, you probably dont. So you create one —
