# Error 403 when submitting comments

 * Recently discovered that I’m getting this message for all comment submissions:
   
   Error 403
 * We’re sorry, but we could not fulfill your request for /wp-comments-post.php?
   for=jetpack on this server.
 * You do not have permission to access this server. Data may not be posted from
   offsite forms.
 * –I disabled comments on Jetpack, and now it seems that commenting is back on 
   my site.
 * Why would that be, when Jetpack comments worked until two days ago? Is it ok 
   to turn it back on now (or ever)? Anything I should do to prevent this in the
   future?

 * Hi Brandon – thanks for following up. I’ll use the form like you recommended,
   and appreciate your help in understanding why this happened and what I can do
   to fix it.
