 * Hi, I have installed some months ago Hummingbird (the free version), I have always
   update to the latest version. Today I have recived a notification that my site
   is down. I have checked immediatly and see the 500 error. I can’t even open the
   dashboard so I have deleted Hummingbird plugin folder and the website is up now.
   The error log show hundreds message like this:
    PHP Fatal error: Allowed memory
   size of 1073741824 bytes exhausted (tried to allocate 98304 bytes) in /home/***/
   public_html/***/wp-includes/wp-db.php on line 1999 This error happened from days,
   but only today the plugin stop working. I have tried to reinstall again but I
   have the same error again and again. Nobody make changes on the website before
   the down. What is the problem?

 * I can add some information: I have other two sites hosted on same hosting with
   Hummingbird. Both sites are incredibly slow sometimes and checking resources
   they use a lot of Physical Memory. I think that last update broken everything
   because until past week there is no problem and the speed was great.
 * Edit: I have tried to empty all caches on the other two website and Cloudflare
   return the error 524. Obviously it’s a problem with this plugin.

 * Hi [@manuelvita96](https://wordpress.org/support/users/manuelvita96/)
 * Sorry to hear you had this issue.
 * Could you check if you are running on PHP 7.4, and increase the WordPress, PHP
   and memory limit following this link?
    [https://premium.wpmudev.org/blog/increase-memory-limit/](https://premium.wpmudev.org/blog/increase-memory-limit/)
 * Once getting access to the dashboard, try a factory reset on Hummingbird > Settings
 * Let us know the result you got,
    Best Regards Patrick Freitas

 * Hi, I have doubled the memory limit to 2048 and now I can reset hummingbird.
   Seems resolved, I have reset on all three site and then I have cleaned the db.
   For now work everything

 * Hi [@wpmudevsupport12](https://wordpress.org/support/users/wpmudevsupport12/)

   After 9 hours working normally now my site have error 503 and in the log this
   string repeated multiple times: PHP Fatal error: Out of memory (allocated 1518338048)(
   tried to allocate 585728 bytes) in /home/***/public_html/***/wp-includes/wp-db.
   php on line 1999 It’s obvious that the plugin have some problem, because I have
   renamed the folder (I can’t access to administration due to the error) and now
   the error it’s gone. What should I do?
 * One another site on same hosting I see this error repeated but the website is
   still online:
    [03-Nov-2020 11:42:50 UTC] PHP Warning: include(): Failed opening‘/
   home/***/public_html/***/wp-content/plugins/hummingbird-performance/admin/views/

 * Hi [@manuelvita96](https://wordpress.org/support/users/manuelvita96/)
 * Can you try to remove the wp-content > **advanced-cache.php** file, this should
   allow accessing the dashboard back.
 * Once done, try to reinstall the plugin instead of only a reset.
 * Let us know the result you got.

 * Hi again [@wpmudevsupport12](https://wordpress.org/support/users/wpmudevsupport12/)
   I have tried to remove all database entries with “wphb” and remove again everything,
   deleting the folder. But same as usual installing and activating the plugin generate
   503 error. I think that lasts update broke this plugin and now I don’t know what
   to do. I have considered to make a subscription for my clients but I can’t make
   it work on my website, and this is a big problem.

 * Could you run a plugin conflict test to check if any plugin is conflicting to
   Hummingbird?

 * Hi, I have checked but all other plugin have nothing to do with this. And mostly
   of my plugin are yours, so I think that the compatibility test are okay.

 * Hi [@manuelvita96](https://wordpress.org/support/users/manuelvita96/),
 * Sorry to hear the issue is ongoing. Just to be sure could we know how did you
   try increasing the memory? Sometimes the server doesn’t reflect the changes made
   via php.ini file.
 * Could you please create a file called info.php in the root directory and add
   the following code:
    `<?php phpinfo(); ?>`
 * Once added, you can call the above info.php file in the browser via:
    abc.com/
   info.php
 * Where abc.com is supposed to be the URL of your website. Where you can check
   the value which is assigned for the term “memory_limit”.
 * The above helps with figuring out the memory_limit of your server and to see
   whether the changes added to set 2048M actually got reflected or not.
 * This should help in moving forward. Looking forward to your response.
 * Kind Regards,
    Nithin
