# Error activating

 * When I try activating the plugin, I get the following:
 * Plugin could not be activated because it triggered a fatal error.
    Parse error:
   syntax error, unexpected ‘[‘ in /home/account/public_html/rru/wp-content/plugins/
   checklist/checklist-com.php on line 63

 * As far as I know, there is none. I got 1 response from them 2 weeks ago asking
   what value I had for a certain area of the plugin. I gave them that, and since
   then… crickets.

 * Hi Guys,
 * Sorry for the late response. We are busy with a new major release and wanted 
   to include the fix with it. But since this is urgent, we have just released v1.1.2
   which should fix the issue.
 * Could you please update and let us know if it is resolved?

 * Just updated the plugin and got the identical error:
 *     ```
       Plugin could not be activated because it triggered a fatal error.
       Parse error: syntax error, unexpected '[' in /home/my-account/public_html/blog/wp-content/plugins/checklist/checklist-com.php on line 159
       ```
   
 * I then removed and re-installed the plugin. When I tried to activate it this 
   time, I got the exact same error.

   an issue.
