I was backing up the website [obviously] and this error popped up –

Oh, and Why do I get the message “Warning: Your backup folder MIGHT be visible to the public!”?
when, when i go (wp-content/backup-db/), it is completely empty.

If you gave problem backing up, this means that the path to mysqldump is wrong, you might need to check with your host.
