# Error : Backup Folder Not Found

 * I installed the plugin, configured it and it ran its first backup after I finished
   configuration but it gives this error:
 * “WARNING: fopen(/home/*****/public_html/wp-content/uploads/backwpup/ddbae4/temp/
   backwpup-ddbae4-folder.php): Failed to open stream: No such file or directory”
 * I deleted and reinstalled the plugin and it still gives the same error. It seems
   that the plugin is not creating a required backup folder.
 * With Filezilla, I checked the backup directory and the “backwpup-ddbae4-folder.
   php” does not exist.
 * Why is the plugin not creating the required folder?
 * Also, I just noticed that the plugin is not sending emails when errors occur.

    - Please share the **debug information** from: yourdomain.com/wp-admin/admin-
      ajax.php?action=backwpup_debug_info (you can hide any sensitive details before
      sharing)
    - Also, please confirm if you’ve checked the **BackWPup folder permissions**
