# Error: Can’t Resolve Flickr API?

 * Just stared getting this error today – waited awhile, and still not resolving?
 * CURL error: “Couldn’t resolve host ‘api.flickr.com'”
 * As a photographer – not having my example images means I am losing money! This
   is NOT COOL!

 * Changing “Flickr API Wrapper Version” to “phpFlickr (alternative version) from
   inside plugin settings fixed it for me. Give it a try

 * I have also found that Flickr API can not respond for few hours/days sometimes.
   
   I don’t exactly know if the premium account on Flickr can help to have better
   responses on APIs.
 * If the problem is always there you can try to change the phpFlickr version as
   suggested by En18Zone.

 * The error shows both on the back end and where the code is displayed publicly
   on the front end.

 * I figured it out. Check the Recently Blocked Connections in your hosting.
