I also had the problem and with help from Site Ground support, actually solved it for my case. I am building a woocommerce site and suddenly could not make any changes from the customizer (e.g. Additional CSS etc), instead got “changeset_post_save_failure”. The solution was to increase the AUTO_INCREMENT value to 9999, for the _posts table of the wordpress database. Please try to install the [Health Check & Troubleshooting Plugin](https://wordpress.org/plugins/health-check/), enable the troubleshooting mode which will deactivate all plugins and check if the issue is solved this way. If the problem is solved, you can reactivate the plugins one by one until you find the one causing the issue and replace it with an alternative plugin. This issue appears only on some edge cases and usually disabling the plugins in search of a plugin conflict or making a fresh installation of WordPress fixes the problem.
