    Good day,

    I installed sitekit and it immediately showed “Error connecting Site Kit Unknown Error (code: site not found).”

    I proceeded to click a button “Redo the plugin setup” and it just navigates me to a blank page ‘error’ (see attached).

    I then tried to manually connect the service and granted the website permission to connect the account – it navigated me to the same error page.

    Finally, I also tried to manually create an account and it also produced an error.

    What more can I do?! Please assist.

    Thanks for reaching out @picflick. The “site not found” error you’re facing indicates that your site may have been previously connected at some stage, and when trying to communicate to set up the plugin once more, it’s not recognizing your credentials. So we can determine more on this, and ensure you can get the plugin successfully connected, please share the following:

    1. Your Site Health information. You can use this form to share privately if preferred.  
    2. Do you recall having connected Site Kit previously for this site? If so, please share if you recall using a different wp-admin path or WordPress files directory.
    3. Did you reset Site Kit at any stage (Tools > Available Tools > Reset Site Kit)? I’m aware you already uninstalled and reinstalled the plugin, however, if you didn’t already try this, please go ahead and do so, before attempting to set up the plugin once more.

    I first began with #3 above and reset the plugin – this successfully worked 🙂
