# Error connecting to API

 * I’ve authenticated the plugin, etc. At the top of every admin page, I have error
   messages:
 * HubSpot Plugin: Error connecting to API – SSL certificate problem: self signed
   certificate in certificate chain
 * HubSpot Plugin: Error connecting to API – Response code was blank
 * HubSpot Plugin: Error connecting to API –
 * Are these problematic? How can I fix these?

 * I’m having the same problem today. I moved the structure of my menus around a
   little and it seems to have thrown the thing out of whack. That shouldn’t have
   mattered though right?
