 * I am hosted on mediatemple.net and I am running into problem with the connecting
   to the database. I installed bbpress on another domain but I think it used the
   same database as wp so wp settings got messed up. Here is the code from my wpconfig
   file
 * <?php// ** MySQL settings ** //define(‘DB_NAME’, ‘xxxxx’); // The name of the
   databasedefine(‘DB_USER’, ‘xxxx’); // Your MySQL usernamedefine(‘DB_PASSWORD’,‘
   ZVHC8UtS’); // …and passworddefine(‘DB_HOST’ ‘$_ENV{DATABASE_SERVER}); // 99%
   chance you won’t need to change this valuedefine(‘DB_CHARSET’, ‘utf8’);define(‘
   DB_COLLATE’, ”);// Change each KEY to a different unique phrase. You won’t have
   to remember the phrases later,// so make them long and complicated. You can visit
   [http://api.wordpress.org/secret-key/1.1///](http://api.wordpress.org/secret-key/1.1///)
   to get keys generated for you, or just make something up. Each key should have
   a different phrase.define(‘AUTH_KEY’, ‘xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx’); // Change this to
   a unique phrase.define(‘SECURE_AUTH_KEY’, ‘xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx’); //
   Change this to a unique phrase.define(‘LOGGED_IN_KEY’, ‘xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx’);//
   Change this to a unique phrase.// You can have multiple installations in one
   database if you give each a unique prefix$table_prefix = ‘wp_’; // Only numbers,
   letters, and underscores please!// Change this to localize WordPress. A corresponding
   MO file for the// chosen language must be installed to wp-content/languages.//
   For example, install de.mo to wp-content/languages and set WPLANG to ‘de’// to
   enable German language support.define (‘WPLANG’, ”);/* That’s all, stop editing!
   Happy blogging. */if ( !defined(‘ABSPATH’) ) define(‘ABSPATH’, dirname(__FILE__).‘/’);
   require_once(ABSPATH . ‘wp-settings.php’);?>
 * It says error connecting to database. I tried changing it to localhost but that
   doesn’t work either. Any help. Also if I had to could I delete Wp and the database
   and then use a Mysql back up file to restore everything? Waht would I have to
   do in order to restore everything instead of just the tables?
    Well if you could
   help me out I would appreciate it. Thanks

 * I am having similar issues
 * web host says:
 * browser cannot access data
 * The issue occurred because your account has exceeded the maximum number of allowed
   simultaneous MySQL connections. You may want to have a look at a sample from
   the MySQL process table below:
 * 438072 bonnie_Editor localhost bonnie_WP2007 Query 7365 Locked UPDATE wp_posts
   SET `guid` = ‘[http://halfwaytoconcord.com/3152-revision-9/&#8217](http://halfwaytoconcord.com/3152-revision-9/&#8217);
   WHERE ID = ‘3198’
    438076 bonnie_Editor localhost bonnie_WP2007 Query 7354 Locked
   SELECT SQL_CALC_FOUND_ROWS wp_posts.* FROM wp_posts INNER JOIN wp_term_relationships
   ON (wp_posts. 438078 bonnie_Editor localhost bonnie_WP2007 Query 7351 Locked
   SELECT wp_posts.* FROM wp_posts WHERE 1=1 AND wp_posts.post_name = ‘al-gores-
   ten-lies-about-glob 438084 bonnie_Editor localhost bonnie_WP2007 Query 7346 Locked
   SELECT post_modified_gmt FROM wp_posts WHERE post_status = ‘publish’ ORDER BY
   post_modified_gmt DESC
 * As seen above, your WordPress application has created a lot of “stuck” MySQL
   queries which should not be happening under normal circumstances.
 * They recommend super cache (already have cacheing installed, or REDUC number
   of plugins (22)
 * Could multiple revisions in 2.6x causing DB to get cluttered?

 * I meant to say
 * could the keeping track of multiple revisions for each post be the culprit here?
