I have the exact same problem as this user:

Please follow the instruction on this page:
https://wpdataaccess.com/docs/documentation/remote-database-connections/mysql-mariadb/

The most common issue is the MySQL schema field. You need to enter the database name here. You also need to make sure the user has access to that database.
