   N.S. isn’t resolving the hostname, maybe tru using the xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx:port to
   see if this is the prob

 * When I open the URL into a Mediaplayer like VLC, there come`s each time a popup
   with "now playing". I think it`s because of a WordPress update tot version 5.2.2.

    Error reading Icecast stats page [http://xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx:port/admin/stats](https://wordpress.org/support/topic/error-curl-error-7-2/?output_format=md).
   Confirm your ip and port settings and make sure you can view the stats page with
   your web browser.
 * Seems like a fould in the writing of the Icecast Now Playing 2.0 Plugin after
   WordPress update to version 5.2.2

 * i have given up on icecast now playing and have gone to iceStats, one thing you
   could try is installing the plugin HTTP / HTTPS Remover see if that works, good
   luck
