I am trying to set up WordPress (I am using MAMP and I am on an HP computer), but I can’t get past the “/wp-admin/setup-config.php?step=1” stage. I keep receiving the “error establishing a database” and “can’t select a database” errors. * Note: I DO NOT have a wp-config file on my computer. It is not there I do not have one. I have the sample file and I’ve tried editing it but whenever I do it just breaks the website more. * I can offer any additional information needed. * Thank you!
