# Error: external wp file is missing?

 * I logged in today and received this error:
 * > Recently an error occurred while creating the CSS / JS minify cache: Remote
   > file not in external files/libraries list: “[http://stats.wp.com/e-201504.js&#8221](http://stats.wp.com/e-201504.js&#8221);.
 * I use W3 Total Cache and figure this has to do with the function for that plugin.
   However the file is from “external libraries” and the address is wp.com so I 
   think this has to do with WordPress. Can anyone offer input? Thanks.

   I manage it on my service through GoDaddy.
 * The wordpress.com is likely because of the stats since I have Jetpack connected
   for managing them. it’s an option that is offered for having more views of your
   stats. Also wp.com is used for alot of the common core files.
 * If you search the address: [http://stats.wp.com/e-201504.js](http://stats.wp.com/e-201504.js)
   a file comes up. But as I stated the error says its in an external file and its
   not being found. So I’m wondering why I’m receiving the error.
