# Error From WordPress about User levels

 * I’m getting this error on the dashboard:
    “Notice: has_cap was called with an
   argument that is deprecated since version 2.0! Usage of user levels by plugins
   and themes is deprecated. Use roles and capabilities instead. in /XXXXredactedXXXX/
   wp-includes/functions.php on line 3006”
 * S2member uses user levels, right? This and PODS are the only plugins I have that
   mess with users levels roles capabilities.

 * No, s2member uses roles, though these roles are divided into levels. So I doubt
   that that message is referring to s2member. Try installing the Query Monitor 
   plugin and see what plugin it identifies as causing the error.

 * Found the culprit, WordPress Post Tabs. Thanks to your help, I will notify the
   plugin author of this issue, maybe save some folks some grief down the road.
