# Error in activating Plugin

 * I downloaded the plugin from within the wp console. When I go to activate it,
   I am getting an error that reads
 * “Plugin could not be activated because it triggered a fatal error.
    Parse error:
   syntax error, unexpected T_FUNCTION in /hsphere/local/home/c239990/plansponsorconsultants.
   com/wp-content/plugins/wp-rss-aggregator/wp-rss-aggregator.php on line 152”
 * Anyone able to advise on this.

 * This error is caused by an outdated version of PHP (lower than PHP 5.3), and 
   is fixable by upgrading to a version that obeys the minimal requirements.
 * Your PHP version must be at least 5.3.9 (the minimum for WP RSS Aggregator).
 * Please check in with your hosting provider if you are unaware of your PHP version
   or need assistance with upgrading your PHP version for your host server.
