# Error in backend

 * As you can see on this screenshot I’ve got an error message in my backend. The
   front end works fine and the links work as well, but it looks crappy. Can you
   fix it please?

 * Actually it happens on some installation … the next release will solve the issue.
   
   If you want to patch you own installation in the meanwhile, please open the core.
   class.php, and replace occurrence of `is_file` by `@is_file`

 * I did this, but now I got following errors:
    Warning: preg_match() [function.
   preg-match]: Compilation failed: nothing to repeat at offset 0 in ***/wp-content/
   plugins/shorten-url/shorten-url.php on line 741

   activated the “Automatic shorten links” option.

 * ah sorry, this was the problem, one tick too much. Deactivating “Automatic shorten
   links” option solved the problem …
