# “Error: Invalid Captcha”

 * I am unable to access my admin website. User name and password are correct, but
   I keep getting the same error message over and over “Error: Invalid Captcha”.
   I tried several web browsers, and I can’t seem the be able to bypass it. Could
   someone please assist?

 * Try [manually resetting your plugins](https://wordpress.org/support/article/faq-troubleshooting/#how-to-deactivate-all-plugins-when-not-able-to-access-the-administrative-menus)(
   no Dashboard access required). If that resolves the issue, reactivate each one
   individually until you find the cause.
 * Once you’ve found the one causing the problem, I recommend reporting it to that
   plugin’s support.

   please? My concern with this approach is the deactivation of all plugins. I am
   knowledgeable enough to handle the aftermath t activate them one by one

 * It won’t destroy your plugins, it will just deactivate all the them.
 * Once you log in after, you go back into the Plugins section of your Dashboard
   and re-activate them one by one until you find the one adding the CAPTCHA.

 * Alternatively, if you know the plugin adding the CAPTCHA, you can ask their support
   if they have any ideas and wait for them to reply.
