# Error message

 * I’m getting this error message when attempting to install an RSS feed.
    Google
   Feedburner says this:
 * The URL does not appear to reference a valid XML file. We encountered the following
   problem: Error on line 58: The element type “link” must be terminated by the 
   matching end-tag “</link>”.
 *  And WordPress widget page says this:
 * [http://themonumentaltraveler.com/blog](http://themonumentaltraveler.com/blog).
   A feed with an invalid mime type may fall victim to this error, or SimplePie 
   was unable to auto-discover it.. Use force_feed() if you are certain this URL
   is a real feed
 * Can anyone help sort this out?

 * One more question.
 * I did a test and subscribed to my own blog using an embedded Mailchimp form. 
   A message appeared showing that it was successful but nothing showed up in my
   inbox.
 * How can I fix this?

 * You’d have to ask the developers of the plugin you used or contact Mailchimp 
   support.
