# Error Message

 * Hello! I need your help. I’m using WordPress for my website and without changing
   anything, it suddenly started displaying the error message “Parse error: syntax
   error, unexpected end of file in /home/.sites/338/site8264454/web/wp-includes/
   pluggable.php on line 2466” – instead of showing my websites content. I’ve heard
   that I should update my WordPress but I cannot log in because it also only shows
   this message. What can I do?
 * (I’ve already looked into that pluggable file with FTP and the line the message
   mentions is the last line of that document – when I delete it, the error message
   stays and just says “Parse error: syntax error, unexpected end of file in /home/.
   sites/338/site8264454/web/wp-includes/pluggable.php on line 2465”; which is the
   new last line.)
    (I’ve already talked to some people and they told me that I 
   should update wordpress but I can’t log in because it also shows that message)
