 * Hi,
 * I just transferred my hosting and domain to SiteGround. However, I now get an
   error message like this:
 * _Warning: Parameter 2 to wp\_hide\_post\_Public::query\_posts\_join() expected
   to be a reference, value given in /home/customer/www/utterlycynthia.com/public\
   _html/wp-includes/class-wp-hook.php on line 288_
 * I removed the Hide Post plugin, but keep getting this message. What should I
   do?
 * Thanks for any help.

 * Try [manually resetting your plugins](https://wordpress.org/support/article/faq-troubleshooting/#how-to-deactivate-all-plugins-when-not-able-to-access-the-administrative-menus)(
   no Dashboard access required). If that resolves the issue, reactivate each one
   individually until you find the cause.
 * If that does not resolve the issue, access your server via [SFTP or FTP](https://wordpress.org/support/article/ftp-clients/),
   or a file manager in your hosting account’s control panel (consult your hosting
   provider’s documentation for specifics on these), navigate to /wp-content/themes/
   and rename the directory of your currently active theme. This will force the
   default theme to activate and hopefully rule-out a theme-specific issue (theme
   functions can interfere like plugins).

 * Hey [@utterlycynthia](https://wordpress.org/support/users/utterlycynthia/)
 * The WP Hide Post plugin hasn’t been updated last 3 years and I don’t recommend
   using it.
 * The issue is that on our servers, the default PHP version is 7.3 and the plugin
   is not compatible with it. When I change the PHP version to 7.0, the notices
   disappear, but I don’t recommend you to change your account PHP version, because
   it will slow down your site. Maybe check for a plugin alternative.
 * Regards,
    Stanimir
