 * I just took a copy of a WordPress system and moved it to my local machine. I
   have it working perfectly, including TablePress.
    Except that when I try to edit
   the TablePress plugin I receive this error messaage:
 * **Options saved successfully, but “Custom CSS” was not saved to file.**
 * Please can you suggest what might be wrong? Where exactly does it save the CSS
   to? Thanks.

 * Hi,
 * thanks for your post, and sorry for the trouble.
 * This indicates problems with the file access rights. Your WordPress installation
   is not able to save files to the `wp-content` folder. You could try to make that
   folder writable, maybe.
 * Regardless, your “Custom CSS” code will be saved in the database and then simply
   loaded into the page as inline CSS code. This should not be a big problem on
   a local machine.
 * Regards,
    Tobias

 * I checked the security access rights on the folders. These are normal folders(
   Windows 10) and the user had permissions.
    You are correct that the changes were
   saved in the database as I could see them there when I looked again. However
   the changes were not making any difference, they definitely were not doing anything.
 * I have now moved the system to a normal (Linux) server and TablePress works perfectly
   again, the changes I had made took effect.
 * So it looks as if there is some issue when running TablePress on a local machine
   using WAMP. Everything else in WordPress was working fine. By the way the database
   was not on the local machine, but on a remote server, an interesting experiment.

 * Hi,
 * good to hear that it’s working on the other machine. Unfortunately, my limit
   about WAMP servers is limited, so that I don’t see what we could try here otherwise
   🙁

 * Thanks for your help anyway. It’s no issue now, I can avoid the problem.
