# Error message – Error establishing a database connection

    I have just updated my blog and also changed password. I get this error message
   all the time ” Error establishing a database connection”. I have no idea how 
   to solve this and would need your help. Please give me some tips on how to solve
   this. I need all the help I can get. Please explain as if you explained this 
   to a 5 year old:)

 * The password for your blog is different (or should be) than the password for 
   the database.
 * This either means that the username and password information in your wp-config.
   php file is incorrect or we can’t contact the database server at localhost. This
   could mean your host’s database server is down.
 * * Are you sure you have the correct username and password?
    * Are you sure that
   you have typed the correct hostname? * Are you sure that the database server 
   is running?
 * If you’re unsure what these terms mean you should probably contact your host.
   This should not be an intermittent problem. If it is, all the more reason, to
   contact your host.
