Error message ftp credentials

    I do not understand this error. I called ipower, they said I have to upload the plugin from ftp, which I did, and still the same error.

    FTP credentials don’t allow to delete folder /hermes/bosnaweb11a/b545/ipw.(mysitename)/public_html/(mysitename)/wp-content/cache/db

    W3 Total Cache Error: Files and directories could not be automatically created to complete the installation.
    Please execute commands manually (how do I do this manually?)
    or use FTP form to allow W3 Total Cache make it automatically. (I don’t understand this)

    Ipower found the solution: the ownership permission for the folder ‘public_html/mysite.com/wp-content/cache’ was corrected
