# Error message – No payment method selected

 * Hello everyone,
   I have a problem with my Woocommerce webshop. I use the **WC 
   Buckaroo BPE Gateway** plugin integration to process payments. However, I get
   the error message ‘no payment method selected’ (in Dutch: geen betaalmethode 
   geselecteerd) while (standard iDEAL) is indeed selected. The strange thing is
   that after switching to another payment method, the payment method does work.
   This is also the case when you switch back to the standard pre-selected method.
   This seems like the trigger or standard load of the payment option when the checkout
   page opens is missing, while it becomes activated when you switch manually to
   another payment option. I have contacted the developer of the Buckaroo plugin,
   but they indicate that the problem is not due to their own plugin and probably
   to the configuration of my webshop or a conflict with another plugin.
 * On my live webshop (the non-test version) I have solved the problem for now by
   placing the manual payment method ‘bank transfer’ at the top by default. The 
   visitor is then forced to choose another payment method, which triggers the payment
   method anyway.

 * To assist you better, could you please confirm whether the issue only appears
   when the **WC Buckaroo BPE Gateway** plugin is activated? If yes, it’s possible
   that the plugin is conflicting with another plugin.
 * To troubleshoot further, I suggest deactivating all plugins except **WooCommerce**
   and **WC Buckaroo BPE Gateway**, and then checking if the issue persists.
    - If the issue still occurs, it likely indicates that the problem is with the
      WC Buckaroo BPE Gateway plugin itself. In that case, please contact the plugin’s
      support team again and let them know that the issue appears even after deactivating
      all other plugins, so they can investigate further.

 * I’ve the same issue.
 * I noted when the customer is a new customer and he needs to fill in the address
   form, the property “payment_method” is not send using the POST request.
   Then 
   I get the same error message.
 * When the new customer refreshes the page, this details are already filled in,
   and then he can proceed the payment. Because then the “payment_method” is send
   over.
