# Error message ‘ob_gzhandler’

 * Hello,
 * I just checked my error logs and I found that this error is repeated almost every
   few seconds:
 * > Fri Sep 9 07:58:11 2005] [error] PHP Warning: ob_start(): output handler ‘ob_gzhandler’
   > cannot be used after ‘URL-Rewriter’ in /home/thebloke/public_html/wp-includes/
   > functions.php on line 585
 * It might have something to do with the other problem I have been trying to deal
   with in the past few days, that is documented [here](http://wordpress.org/support/topic/44009).
 * Does anyone have any suggestions on how to resolve or troubleshoot?

 * `php_flag session.use_trans_sid off`
 * Toss that in your .htaccess. That’ll fix it! 🙂

 * Or just go to Options -> Reading and uncheck the use gzip box at the bottom of
   the page.
