 * I’ve triple checked that my Google Spreadsheet is public – here is the link:
 * [https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1vzY0cCcOhoMw35sw5tGGS2m5K-VB0A6CCR0sTj83NB4/edit#gid=0](https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1vzY0cCcOhoMw35sw5tGGS2m5K-VB0A6CCR0sTj83NB4/edit#gid=0)
 * I’ve tried the shortcode with both the full link address and just this part (
   1vzY0cCcOhoMw35sw5tGGS2m5K-VB0A6CCR0sTj83NB4) and both return the error message“
   Error requesting Google Spreadsheet data: Failed to connect to 2a00:1450:4001:
   806::1008: Network is unreachable.”. I’ve pinged the IP and that comes back as
   fine.
 * What am I missing?

 * Hmm. Have you tried separating the `key` parameter (which accepts a URL but not
   a URL fragment) from the `gid` parameter (which accepts the value of the `gid`
   parameter from the URL). In other words, try this:
 *     ```
       [gdoc key="https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1vzY0cCcOhoMw35sw5tGGS2m5K-VB0A6CCR0sTj83NB4/edit" gid="0"]
       ```
 * Thanks for the quick reply. Unfortunately that didn’t work – gave the same error
   message.
 * Sorry, I should have read past the first line in your post.
 * A “Network is unreachable” error indicates a connectivity problem, not a problem
   with the plugin. Either your server or Google is without Internet (unlikely),
   there is an intentional block on Google (possible), or there is a routing misconfiguration
   on your server (that’d be my guess).
 * Are you running any firewall plugins? If not, consider asking your host if `google.
   com` servers are reachable.
 * Hope this helps.
