# Error message? What might be wrong?

       ```
   
 * I get this error message when trying to use the chat shortcode. I get no response
   in the AI playground either. I pasted in my API key from Open AI but it doesn’t
   seem to be working… What might be the issue?

   by a firewall?

 * Thanks! It’s working now. I deactivated Akismet and a few other plugins. Not 
   sure which one was causing the issue..

   🙂 Akismet should be fine, but it could be another plugin, or also could be an
   error produced by another plugin during the asynchronous queries. Keep an eye
   on your PHP Error Logs 🙂
