# Error message with plugin

 * I’ve just installed your styles plug in, but it keeps telling me to activate 
   it. It is showing up as actived in the plug ins list. I click on active and it
   brings up the error:
 * The plugin does not have a valid header.
 * HELP!

 * Hi Lou,
 * Sounds like the plugin may not have been installed completely. Can you try deleting
   it and reinstalling from the built-in WordPress installer? If that doesn’t do
   anything, can you provide a temporary admin login to [styles@stylesplugin.com](https://wordpress.org/support/topic/error-message-with-plugin/styles@stylesplugin.com?output_format=md)?
