    Might be good now. Forgot to do the “complete deactivation” as described on https://ww.wp.xz.cn/support/topic/error-occurred-while-updating-spamfirewall-local-base-23/

    I have the same error, but why is this error appearing in the first place? It seems like anti-spam is trying to access a non-existent external link during an update. Looks spammy. 😉

    Not sure but I was able to resolve it by doing the complete deactivation as described in the link I posted above.

    The file our plugin tried to download is a file for updating the local SpamFireWall database.
    Please let us know if the Complete deactivation didn’t help with resolving the issue.

    The error is not there anymore. It went away automatically. I guess, it worked probably when anti-spam tried to update the databased again.
