 * Because there has no any error message after “Oops”, I must to login to your
   dashboard and check some database keys.
 * On your channel you have only one uploaded video and it works on our development
   server.
 * If you wish to we help, please create temporary Administrator account in your
   WordPress and provide credentials through form on [http://urosevic.net/wordpress/contact/](http://urosevic.net/wordpress/contact/)

 * Hi [@espreson](https://wordpress.org/support/users/espreson/),
 * I’m afraid that you could not use any plugin that uses [wp_remote_get](https://codex.wordpress.org/Function_Reference/wp_remote_get)
   builtin WordPress function until you sort out with **your server support** to
   solve that issue (including YouTube Channel).
 * This is HTTP response that we get when try to retrieve feed from [http://www.googleapis.com](http://www.googleapis.com):
 * `Failed to connect to 2404:6800:4003:c00::5f: Network is unreachable`
 * If you visit your Dashboard and look at **WordPress News** widget, you’ll see
   error `RSS Error: WP HTTP Error: connect() timed out!` caused by same problem.
 * [https://goo.gl/qp4jpf](https://goo.gl/qp4jpf)
 * You can now remove temporary Administrator account you made for me.
 * Kind regards,
    Aleksandar

 * Side note:
 * [@urkekg](https://wordpress.org/support/users/urkekg/) Thanks for the support(
   truly) but don’t you think you could have gotten that information _without_ obtaining
   a administrator login?
 * Doing that is something that has always been frowned upon.

 * I’m glad you are providing support but please walk your users without getting
   that login. No one should give anyone access to their installation that way.

 * [@urkekg](https://wordpress.org/support/users/urkekg/) how to resolve this server
   issue?

 * [@jan](https://wordpress.org/support/users/jan/) Dembowsky: Thank you for note,
   it was helpful. I appreciate it and understand point.
 * Unfortunately, I ask for admin access only when there is issue I can’t figure
   out from details and reports provided by latest version of plugin (like in this
   case, as I did not predict to wp_remote_get() fail to communicate with googleapis.
   com because server limitations/restrictions).
 * IMHO, it’s better to help user if I can, than to say “I can’t help”, even if
   that requires temporary dashboard access. There was only one user who denied
   to provide dashboard access (email support), and that is OK. But, I’ll consider
   that in the future.
 * These cases help me to improve plugin and try to make it available for all users/
   servers. Also, these cases makes better FAQ.
 * And, at the end, not all users are developers; sometime is faster to do homework
   by myself, than to spend ten days training user to master WordPress.
 * One more detail. As I often use premium plugins and themes, their support often
   request admin access, sometime even FTP access. And that is legit if I need to
   know what’s wrong with plugin/theme. So I though it’s Ok to do same for free
   plugins. But, will consider that in future.
 * Once more time, thank you for that note.

 * [@espreson](https://wordpress.org/support/users/espreson/) Contact server/hosting
   support and ask them why [wp_remote_get](https://codex.wordpress.org/Function_Reference/wp_remote_get)
   from WordPress does not work.

 * I don’t know if it’s just me, but it sounds like you’re taking the point lightly.
   Maybe because Jan was so polite.
 * It’s a serious point.

 * [@andrew](https://wordpress.org/support/users/andrew/) I’m sorry if you see my
   explanation about why I asked for dashboard access as “taking the point lightly”.
   I just trying to be polite and detailed.
 * So, to be short and clear, I’ll note again: **I will not ask users of my free
   plugins for dashboard access in the future.**
