# Error optimizing images

 * The plugin isn’t working. It displays the following error: _**Error al publicar
   en la API: cURL error 7: Failed to connect to smushpro.wpmudev.com port 443: 
   Connection refused**_
 * Could it be a problem on the server?

 * The error can occur due to the Firewall. Could you please check with your Hosting
   Provider if there is any firewall enabled?
 * If yes, you’ll need to make sure to allow the following IPs within the Firewall,
   ie the IPs listed under “**WP-Smush**” in the following page:

 * Hello.
 * Indeed, the problem was due to some of the plugin’s IP addresses being blocked
   by the server’s firewall. It’s now resolved.
