 * Hello, i create shtml via the error pages in cPanel interface.
 * now, because i turn off mod secure (WF not work together with mod secure), the
   rules inside the htacsses do not work for the shtml error pages and not show
   them.
 *     ```
       # Apache cPanel Default
       #ErrorDocument 400 /400.shtml
       #ErrorDocument 401 /401.shtml
       #ErrorDocument 403 /403.shtml
       #ErrorDocument 404 /404.shtml
       #ErrorDocument 406 /406.shtml
       #ErrorDocument 500 /500.shtml
       ```
 * have a way to set up the pages from WF? or link this?
 * btw
    I want active mod secure. but he do a lot of errors in the apache log and
   WF gets blocked as well. have recommendations on that?
 * The page I need help with: _[[log in](https://login.wordpress.org/?redirect_to=https%3A%2F%2Fwordpress.org%2Fsupport%2Ftopic%2Ferror-pages-mod-secure%2F%3Foutput_format%3Dmd&locale=en_US)
 * Hello [@123nadav](https://wordpress.org/support/users/123nadav/) and thanks for
   reaching out to us!
 * In the past, I have had a few people ask about this and usually, the result is,
   you have to pick one. Having multiple security software run parallel to each
   other usually will cause interference with each other. Which is what you seem
   to be seeing currently.
 * If you have to choose one over the other, I would recommend Wordfence because
   it’s geared towards security exploits against WordPress sites. If you look at
   the Rule-set found within Wordfence -> All Options, there are plenty of rules
   that combat attacks against popular plugins.
 * Wordfence also provides you with an interface to easily view Live Traffic, manage
   settings, get email alerts on your site’s status.
 * Let me know if you have any other questions and I can try to look into it further
   for you.
 * Thanks!
 * Hello again [@123nadav](https://wordpress.org/support/users/123nadav/)
 * Any error pages they setup via apache/htaccess would run before Wordfence. Wordfence
   doesn’t really interact with them.
 * Wordfence has specific pages which will return with specific error codes, but
   they’re not going to be influenced by what you may have set in the `.htaccess`
   or vice versa.
 * Hope this helps!
 * Thanks!
