# Error preparing new payment method configuration.

 * I saw this in another post but no fix was presented. I am getting this error 
   when I try to add a credit card to pay for labels:
 *     ```wp-block-code
       Error preparing new payment method configuration. Please contact support quoting error HYMNCA
       ```
   
 * I have tried multiple computers and multiple cards.

   I understand how interruptions like this can be limiting.
 * Could you please share a screenshot of the error, as well as a link to the other
   thread where you noticed it unresolved? This will help us further troubleshoot
   and analyze the trend.
 * We would also appreciate it if you could share your system status report from
   WooCommerce > Status > Get system report > Copy for support, using Pastebin or
   Gist.github.com.

 * Thank you for sharing the screenshot — that makes things clearer. From what I
   can see, the error you’re getting is coming from your **WordPress.com account**
   while trying to add a payment method, not directly from the WooCommerce Tax plugin
   itself.
 * Since this is tied to your account and billing setup, the best next step would
   be to reach out directly to the WordPress.com support team so they can look into
