    I am getting this error only when an user is using 100 % coupon discount and it giving me Error processing checkout. Please try again

    I understand that you are seeing the above error when using a 100% coupon on checkout, is this correct?

    Please clarify the following:

    • Are you are using the coupon management built-in to WooCommerce core, or if you are using a plugin for this?
    • Does this occur with a specific payment gateway, or with multiple payment gateways?
    • Has this been an ongoing issue, or one that has recently surfaced? If the latter, do you recall any changes/updates made to the site prior to this issue happening?

    Additionally, please can you share the following:

    • System Status Report: navigate to WooCommerce → Status. Select Get system report and then Copy for support.
    • Fatal Error log: Share a copy of any fatal error log found under WooCommerce → Status → Logs.

    Yes , we are using the coupon management built-in to WooCommerce core and this is happening with multiple payment gateways ,and it is also happening for all the orders, it is unable to fetch any payment details of any payment gateways

    Because it is not able to fetch payment details, we are not able to map the order details with the bookly data as woocommerce and bookly are interconnected with the payment details.

    I attempted to reproduce the error on your site by running a test. However, I couldn’t because it appears that the coupon “hio-testing” is exclusive to a selected user.

    However, I understand that you’re experiencing this error during checkout when a 100% coupon discount is applied. This issue could be caused by several factors. Here are a few troubleshooting steps you can take to resolve it:

    • Update your WooCommerce plugin: Your system status report shows that you’re currently on an older version. I recommend updating to the latest version of WooCommerce. This is because updates usually come with bug fixes that can help sort out the issue you’re experiencing.
    • Check your Coupon Settings: Ensure the coupon is set up correctly. It should be a Cart Discount type with a 100% discount. Also, check if there’s a limit usage to items or limit usage per user that could be causing the issue.
    • Test for plugin conflicts: Sometimes, other plugins can interfere with WooCommerce. To check if this is the case, deactivate all plugins except WooCommerce and see if the problem persists. If the error is resolved, reactivate your plugins one by one until you find the one causing the conflict. We recommend creating a staging site if you cannot do the conflict test on the live site.
    • Switch to a default theme: Your theme could also be causing this issue. To check, temporarily switch to the default Storefront theme and see if the issue remains.
