 * This importer is error prone, unpredictable and even doesn’t work with simple
   post types. It is just annoying.
 * Generally it works and I would contact the author first for improvements, but
   this is a “core” plugin of WordPress.

 * Could you elaborate on the errors you experienced. I’ve used this plugin many
   times and, thus far, have not had any issues.
