# Error: Rest Cannot Create

 * Hi WPJM Community,
 * I am currently trying to set up this plugin for a client and trying to post via
   the REST API but keep getting this error:
    {“code”:”rest_cannot_create”,”message”:”
   Sorry, you are not allowed to create posts as this user.”,”data”:{“status”:401}}
   I have set up authentication and everything else needed, I did exactly the same
   as I did on another site and it worked fine. The only difference I can find is
   the site is isnt working on is a managed site hosted by IONOS. Does anyone have
   experience with them or know what else might be causing the issue?

 * This looks to be an issue that only your hosting provider can help. A 401 response
   status indicates that the client request has not been completed because it lacks
   valid authentication credentials for the requested resource.
 * We don’t have a connection nor have worked directly with IONOS, but I highly 
   recommend reaching out to them, so they can help you solve this issue. Here I
