# Error Retrieving Settings

 * Hello,
    I need help quickly. This morning my site was working. However, I returned
   to add a post and got the following message:
 * Warning: require_once(/home/alegroup/public_html/wp-content/plugins/jetpack/class.
   jetpack.php): failed to open stream: No such file or directory in /home/alegroup/
   public_html/wp-content/plugins/jetpack/jetpack.php on line 71
 * Fatal error: require_once(): Failed opening required ‘/home/alegroup/public_html/
   wp-content/plugins/jetpack/class.jetpack.php’ (include_path=’.:/opt/php54/lib/
   php’) in /home/alegroup/public_html/wp-content/plugins/jetpack/jetpack.php on
   line 71
 * My entire site is inaccessible. I have tried to go in through WordPress.com and
   see the site in the list with my other sites. However, when I try to do anything
   it gives me the above message. Is there a way to reset jetpack?
 * Thanks for any help and guidance I can get.

 * Are you still having trouble with this or did you get things working?
 * If you are still having issues, I would access your server via [SFTP or FTP](https://codex.wordpress.org/FTP_Clients),
   or a file manager in your hosting account’s control panel, navigate to `/wp-content/
   plugins/` and delete the Jetpack folder.
 * Next, go to your plugins page and make sure it doesn’t show up in your list of
   installed plugins.
 * As long as it’s not there, you should be able to add the Jetpack plugin again.
