With everything isolated it runs about 50% and then still crashes. – Yes, I did use above mentioned plug-in with WordPress’ default theme. – Yes, I did deactive all plug-ins to see if that helps – Yes, I did deactive everything possible, even the themes except the default WP theme – Yes, I did clear all caches – Yes, I ran every troubleshooting option there is available with WP, Yoast + addons from Yoast and/or WP * The issue perists on a clean install with ONLY Yoast SEO activated and also on an active install with Troubleshooting running only with Yoast SEO, for me but as well as others with the same topic and issues. - This topic was modified 5 years, 3 months ago by [artifexmedia](https://wordpress.org/support/users/artifexmedia/). First, we want to assure you that not performing the optimization process will not affect your site negatively in the search results. Additionally, even if you don’t perform the optimization process, it will still run silently in the background as content on your site gets traffic or modified. The optimization process though will make our plugin work more efficiently. * Can you please perform the following and see if it resolves the issue? 1. Install & activate the [Yoast Test Helper plugin](https://wordpress.org/plugins/yoast-test-helper/). 2. Go to your WordPress admin dashboard > Tools (sidebar) > Yoast Test. 3. Locate the Yoast SEO section and select the ‘Reset Internal link counter’, ‘ Reset Prominent words calculation’, and ‘Reset Indexables tables & migrations’ buttons. 4.
