Error sending message Contact Form 7

    Hi.

    Contact Form 7 showing error sending message:
    There was an error while trying to send your message. Try again later.

    this appears on a red border. I already consulted the plugin page and followed all recommendations, but the problem persists. I also got in touch with my server, but it seems the problem is in the plugin.

    Can someone help me. Thanks.

    Hi, I am getting the same error. I am using Gmail SMTP. My settings for Gmail SMTP are good and when I send a test e-mail from that plugin it is successful, but my Contact Form 7 emails are failing with the error message. I really need this resolved.

    I have the exact same issue using WP SMTP mail plugin connected to my gsuite email, my test email works in WP SMTP plugin. Does someone know what’s wrong? The FAQ is vague.

    I’m getting the error as well. It was working fine a couple days ago.

    There is nothing in the error_log. There are no messages sent to my site’s default email account. The FAQ is useless. THERE IS NO WAY TO DEBUG THIS PROBLEM.

    Is there a debug mode that can be set on? I’d rather pull this plugin and use something else than try to reverse engineer it.

    I ended up using another form. This is unfortunately what happens when you use free plugins.
