# Error: table doesn’t exist

 * on install of a new site, I received an email with a critical error saying the
   following:
 * > Ein Fehler vom Typ E_ERROR wurde in der Zeile 407 der Datei /wp-content/plugins/
   matomo/classes/WpMatomo/Db/WordPress.php verursacht. Fehlermeldung: Uncaught 
   Zend_Db_Statement_Exception: WP DB Error: [1146] Table ‘db622615_7.demo_de_matomo_custom_dimensions’
   doesn’t exist SQL: SELECT * FROM demo_de_matomo_custom_dimensions WHERE idsite
   = ? in /wp-content/plugins/matomo/classes/WpMatomo/Db/WordPress.php:407
 * It seems that the installation is working but I thought you might want to know.

 * It looks like your have a missing table.
    You could try to relaunch the setup
   process by removing the file ./wp-content/uploads/matomo/config/config.ini.php.

 * Hey Mat, thanks for your quick feedback. The table was created without me doing
   anything. I don’t see any other error when using Matomo. I just thought you might
   want to know in case there is something wrong with the initial installation routine
   in the plugin.

 * Good to know that everything is set up now.
    Don’t know why you get this error
   if the setup created the table. We’ll investigate if this happens again.
