 * Second. I also have this problem. It would appear as though the devs both don’t
   have error checking on the API calls and require a previous version to be installed
   with the necessary values setup, no clean install path.

 * Very poor fix, does not handle API errors, causes the full administration be 
   inaccessible due to fatal errors.
